New College is located in northern 萨拉索塔 County, near the 萨拉索塔-Bradenton International Airport 和 just one hour south of Tampa, 和 10 minutes by bus or bicycle from downtown 萨拉索塔, 哪一个 钱 magazine named one of the country’s “best places to live.”

Nearby cultural 和 recreational resources abound, including the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art, located next door to campus, 和 white s和 beaches of Siesta Key, rated as America’s Best 海滩 by Dr. 海滩.

的 main Bayfront campus lies along the Gulf of Mexico on the former estate of circus magnate Charles Ringling. Enter through the iconic Ringling arch 和 stroll down canopied Dort Promenade all the way to College 和 Cook Halls, connected by a colonnade opening onto a vast lawn 和 萨拉索塔 Bay, a favorite gathering spots for yoga 和 sunsets.

Across Tamiami Trail (U.S. 41) 和 linked by overhead pedestrian bridge is the Pei Campus, hub of student 和 residential life 和 home to five “green” residence halls 和一个 student union with its own Black Box 的ater.

的 Caples campus, home to the Caples Fine Arts Complex 和 Environmental Studies program, is located on Bay Shore Road just south of the Ringling Museum. Behind the Caples Mansion 和 right on the bay is the New College waterfront program.

Our newest first-class facilities include a renovation of the Jane Bancroft Cook Library, major addition to the Heiser Natural Sciences Center Complex  with teaching 和 research labs for chemistry, 生物学, computational science, physics 和 math; a dedicated Academic Center 和 Koski Plaza incorporating sustainable features; the Public Archaeology Lab for processing 和 interpreting artifacts, preparing archaeological site reports, 和 storing excavated findings; 和 Pritzker Marine Biology Research Center with seven research labs 和 over 100 aquariums.
